Additional DX 7 - AR7000 "Binding" Information
From a thread on RCU, presented by the requestor... "newc" .... this is good to read...
<<"I bought an AR7000 Rx at my LHS to convert one of my planes, as
I have started using the DX-7. However, the switch harness that came with the
DX-7 is in the first plane and not readily available for the second plane, and
all the other switch harnesses I have are two wire. Seeing Dick Hanson's post
that said that this is no problem, that all one had to do was use the bind plug
into a port in the Rx, I have given this a try. I had four servos plugged in -
on the bench - and the plug into another port, then plugged the battery (the one
that came with the DX-7) into the battery port of the AR 7000.
All I get is a brief flash of the red LED
on the primary Rx and nothing on the remote RX. No steady flashing or any other
indication that I had when setting up the first plane.
Any ideas?

You have to plug the bind plug into the BATT port, you can then plug the battery
into any other port.
Flypaper 2
Put the bind plug into the Batt. channe and plug the batt. into any other open
channel. The bind will only work in the batt. channel. Hold the bind switch down
on the trans. and then turn it on then wait for both rcvrs to come on solid.

Bigbird007 and Flypaper 2 - Thanks for your input. That worked like a charm.
Thanks again." >>
