AR 7000 Antennas
On both the primary receiver, and the secondary, the receivers are two short pieces of wire sticking out of the plastic cases. They flex. Move real easy. By design.
When installing, try to have them straight, and check periodically.
Manuals say the remote/second receiver antenna should be configured 90* to the first, and at least 2" or more away.
Do it that way. Whether it is 90* in the X axis, or Y axis, seems to make NO difference.
Picture above is my EF Yak, taken prior to installation of protective foam and little velcro straps.. Secondary RX antenna on left fuse side, antenna running fore/aft. Primary mounted to fuse crosspieces, antennas pointing left/right. Works fine.
