BINDING

Spektrum radios need to be "bound" to the TX in question.

Binding plug shorts third wire in switch harness to negative battery (like DSC function).  This must be plugged into the "BATT" slot on the receiver, either the AR7000, or AR9000!!!  YOU CANNOT BIND THE SYSTEM USING ANY OTHER "slots" in the receivers!!!

Install RX in airplane intended.

Select Airplane intended on TX.  Turn OFF TX.

Insert Binding plug into switch harness/plug. (Or into the BATT receptacle, using a different RX slot to temporarily connect power while binding).   Turn on RX, lights on RX should flash.

Holding in "Bind" button on back of TX, turn ON TX, continue to hold bind button until BOTH RX led indicators go steady.  If you have servos connected, you will hear them "turn on" at that point.

Release bind button on TX.  Turn off RX.  Remove Bind plug.

Turn ON RX, test system.  To test throttle "fail safe" setting, advance throttle stick, observe movement of throttle, leave in position.  Turn OFF TX, throttle should go to low idle setting.  LED's on RX's go out.

Turn TX back ON - after a few seconds, RX lights should be steady, throttle should return to position of TX throttle stick.

ALL DX7 Receivers must be "bound" to a specific model in the TX before they will operate correctly.

If changes are made to the Throttle setup, either mechanical or within the TX programming, you must bind the RX again.
